Freelander Catalytic converter

Hi Everyone

Just bought a freelander and joined the web site
I have a rattle on the car and after checking it is the catalytic converter
Does anyone know the best place to get one and the approximate cost.

Recently arrived from the UK and they cost a fortune over there

Can't help you with a price here in Aus - but I can tell you from my experience so far is that everything I've looked at for my Flandy has been far cheaper in the UK than in Aus - even allowing for postage its still been remarkably cheaper. Most recent example was quoted $600 from Melb Land Rover for a new tailgate window regulator - brand new ex-UK including postage is around $300...

So I'd be very surprised if a genuine catalytic converter was a decent price here :(
