would anyone hav any idea on how much a set of army pick and shouvel holders cost for the front wingtops ?

availabilty may be a bigger problem than cost. They turn up on evilbay every now and again. A figure --------------------< $200 at a guess for the holders (only)

The going price seems to be around $150-$200 SH. They are also available new apparently.

The going price seems to be around $150-$200 SH. They are also available new apparently.
Some similar products are still available ex U.K. (later military - perentie???) can be a bit hit & miss if you get it, and it's not quite the same as the original series gear.

Pa blanchards are your best bet from the old country they carry the brackets for the picks and the shovels cheap
They may be able to source the actual items also

I sold a set on ebay a couple of weeks ago. They were bead blasted and zinc plated. They sold for $196.50 from memory.
I have seen tool brackets (very similar) at Rovacraft Melbourne.
Anthony Johnson (British 4WD Imports) has an army set for sale currently. You can call him on (03) 9728 8046.
