i was reading a post the other day(cant remember where) on this site though and someone said that there should be a WWW.AULRO.COM.AU (http://www.AULRO.COM.AU) sticker for our windscreens.i maybe able to help if it hasnt been done already. i would need to know what colour(white looks good) and a quantity. i dont know who to talk to on the site about this? are many people interested? what do you think. tony

Hang on Qld members :excl:
Stickers on your windscreen can be illegal!
I would ask for info on the local cops office ;)

stickers on windscreens are not a major issue in Qld if you are sensible about it. Don't go anywhere near the drivers major field of view. Across the top with a strip type should not attract undue attention.

Yep, even your rego sticker. ;)

I'm still keen for some sticker goodness, though.

As long as the sticker doesn't encroach on the area swept by the wipers you should be fine.

I like the idea, but in my Rangie I look through the top of the windscreen, so I won't be putting any stickers there.

Exactly. Tinting or stickers cannot protrude into the area swept by the wipers. So stickers or tinting cannot be legally fitted to the top of a 110/defender screen.

you cannot have any tinting strip on a windscreen in qld unless it has been manufactured into the windscreen.

as for the stickers ..... about to organise a run.

there will be an announcement soon... on stickers and clothing etc..

Apart from legal questions - if you have a Series Landrover, you will not want anything on the top of the windscreen unless you are very short!

Definately interested in a sticker across the top of the windscreen. I was actually going to have a chat to the guy who's signwriting our work vehicles on Monday.
