Hi all:)
Around this time last week i bought an ARB compressor, switches and loom to run an ARB air locker off Hobzee's 4wd shop on ebay.
I paid strate away, and emailed him as you do.
Still hasn't arrived and i've sent several emails to him without reply to any of them:mad:
I'm starting to get a bit worried;), i've heard so many good things about him, his feedback is great etc, has anyone else had any probs with him?
and if someone could give me his phone number that would be great!!
If i can get it we will ring him tomorrow and see whats goin on:mad:.

Murphys law says it will turn up tomorrow. (That seems to happen to me when I order stuff by mail). Remember Auspost is involved. Even if it wasn't registered, it is traceable, and you've got proof of payment (via how you paid) . I bought a winch solenoid from him, no probs. Give it a few more days.

Let's keep the negative comments to PMs, thanks.
Australian Land Rover Owners - FAQ: vBulletin FAQ (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/faq.php?faq=vb_faq#faq_negativethreads)
AULRO IS NOT THE PLACE TO WHINGE ABOUT DEALERS, REPAIRERS OR SOMEONE YOU THINK HAS WRONGED YOU. whilst you may think it a good thing to warn your mates about something or someone you feel has done you wrong, doing so in a public forum not only exposes you to possible legal action, it also exposes the system to such risks. there are dedicated sites on the net that specialise in that type of post, eg Not Good Enough - Australia's Customer Complaints Website :: Home (http://www.notgoodenough.com.au) , please use them. by all means praise those that do the right thing by you in the areas already provided.

I have bought heaps of stuff off him.. no probs as yet.. altho there was a fair wait time. I think like alot of online guys they have to order it off the supplier first. Eg they don't actual have it in there hands at the time its on ebay. His phone and shop front are on the add. just call him. Hope it all works out...

Hobzee was no probs for me.
For the ebay shoppers and his particular site..... always check his prices against other shops. Just because he is on ebay doesn't mean that he hasn't added a cracker of a mark up.

I was interested in one of his water tanks that go behind the rear seat.
Soon I'll have the best equipped RR that doesn't go off-road. :(

Bought a few things off Hobzee, great service. I bought a spare Silverstone MT117 sport and it arrived in 3 days at my front door (I couldn't get one in QLD at the time). Also bought a few other items off him and never had an issue.

We bought a 2" susp. kit for Dads D1 from them not long ago. There was a slight oversight in the banking process, (our payment wasn't noticed for a while) but all in all, they have been great to deal with, and very helpful.;)

I can't see the benefit over buying in a store that's more than retail and you have to pay postage. They are'nt a bad compressor, they get very hot on anything over 32 inch though.

I doubt this one will get very hot as it is a locker activation compressor only, not for tyres;) (the little one)

That ones over priced to $175 full retail. Internet is not always the cheapest way to go.

Yep, but you got the best one to get, the CKSA12 is definatly the better way to go for running lockers thats it's whole reason for existance after all, get a Max Air for tyres as they are better at tyres than the ARB compressor on 32 inch and above, then you have the best of both none of the whole jack of all trades master of none business.
If you remote mount the air filter it will even run under water.

I work for ARB and would guess the issue was a supply one in fairness to him.

It might have been, but he could have at least let me know, especially after atleast 3 weeks of waiting without one reply to an email:mad:
We had to ring him to get him moving, they didn't order more kits in until a week or so after i payed for it when we rung them up and they said ,oh oh...yeah we are out of stock just have to order some more in:angel:
But ARB were involved, so they might have had to get more in aswell so it might have had to be ordered in more than once;)
I'm mainly abit annoyed due to the fact that i could have just gone into our local ARB store and bought one for alot less than what i paid:o
Anyway hopefuly it was a one off event:D, going by his feedback it is likely.

sorry I should have been a bit clearer, there was a supply issue on the compressors within ARB.
But of course your right that doesn't stop someone getting on the phone and saying hey look sorry there is a supply issue.

Just to back that up from Cookiesa, I had a winch bar ordered from our local agent and was told 3 weeks as they had to manufacture more. This may be a good indication of their market share here and overseas, as they don't seem to be able to keep up with demand in some areas, or is it just LR accessories as the majority is Toyota and Nissan etc maybe?
Anyway, good products, I'll continue to buy them:)
