ARB coil springs upgrade - has anyone had them fitted.

Hi all, I'm new and just received a 2005 D3 4 months ago and from the reports from this forum I bought and fitted a Traxide SC80-LR Plug-&-Play + Full Power Cable Kit. Thanks.
Now I'm looking at raising the suspension as its sitting very low and am looking at tha ARB coils and woundering if anyone has them installed and how are they performing.

Are they ARBs own or are they King Springs? There were some issues with the longer King Springs putting pressure in the shocks when suspension is fully extended.

I have a 2006 D3s which had already had the King Spring raised springs fitted to the rear of it when I purchased the the vehicle earlier in the year. I have just taken delivery of a set of King Spring front raised springs which I will fit in the next few days.

Kings Springs position on their raised springs for the D3 is that they limit the amount of lift to 40mm so that the existing shocks do not top out. At least that is what they told me via email. (this is most likely to cover them selves)

Having said that I have been told by a reputable suspension company that have been fitting the King Springs to D3s that the front ones I have just got will raise the front between 50mm to 55mm.

The rear springs that were already fitted to my vehicle I estimate have raised the rear between 60mm to 65mm and as yet I have not had any issues or shock problems but the vehicle is not driven over terrain that drops the wheels hard to their lower limits. The Rover dealer that I purchased the vehicle from also gave approval to the previous owner to fit the aftermarket springs.

You may also wish to read the Post that I started "How high is your D3" one of the things I was trying to find out is how high a standard factory coil sprung D3 actually is so that I had a better idea of how high mine had been lifted rather than the estimate I have been making of the rear. You may have that answer if yours is standard.

For your information if you go with the King Springs the numbers are as follows and the springs cost around $180.00 a pair contact me if you need the name of where to purchase them.

Rear raised KRRR-14 or same number with HD on the end for Heavy Duty Springs.
Front raised KRFR-13 or with HD after number for heavy duty (if you have winch, heavy bullbar etc)

Cant comment on ARB coils, but I put 4 Pedders springs on my '07 TDV6 S & got pretty well spot on 40mm of lift F & R.
