Hi All,

I have just joined the website and this is my first message.

I purchased my Series 1 in Jan this year from ebay and have just started the fun task of stripping down the body. It is now just a chasis, with motor and gearbox. We only had to put in new spark plugs and the motor started up straight away and rans well. So well, we are debating whether to rebuilt it at all!! But in the end I'm keen too.

If anyone has a rear tub, the seat frames and a bumper bar for a s1 they would like to sell, I would keen to have a chat!

The bumper bars are professionally re-manufactured by a company somewhere. There are a few styles though, so make sure that you get the correct type. Seats are available from Exmoor Trim for pretty much every Land Rover. What is wrong with your rear tub? It looked functional from the photographs provided.

Thanks Aaron. I Googled exmoor trim, looks like they have a good range of seats, hoods etc. Thanks for the tip. I have attached a photo of my tub. somewhere over its long life the panel behind the front seats have been cut away, some of the ribs underneath are missing and the panels are full of bog. At the end of the day it is repairable, but if one in better cond puts up I'll try for that.
