Hi All, I have just got a 85 County V8 and am new to Land Rovers. Can you tell me where i can get polly bushes and what offset i need to get 33s under. I have tracked down a 2" lift kit. Thanks:D

Google MR Automotive in Redcliffe - they will be able to help you. :)

If you're going the poly-bush route, I'd recommend Super-Pro4x4 - they're a softer compound than most.

WRT fitting 33's, they will fit under a county on a standard offset without any mods - especially the V8s (Isuzu county exhaust is routed through the left front wheelarch, and anything larger than 33's will rub on the exhaust).

Super pro are the only poly bushes I would fit to a coiller.

Make sure the 2" (spring) lift isn't too stiff, or you will have no wheel travel.

33x what?

I have 255/85-16s (33.3") on disco rims with 15mm of extra offset. No rubbing.

I think that is incorrect, a 255/85/16 measures up to 33.3''.

On my county I have 33x12.5x15 on a neg25 offset rims made by Dynamic.

Thanks for picking that up. I have fixed it now.

I ditto the Super Pro comments - having fitted them to a couple of other cars along with two other makes of poly bushes i concluded that they are very clearly the best made - they always fit perfectly ... i've used others that needed modifying to fit :o

Plus they're aussie made.
