And Kayla, 4 yo border collie... this one is very hard to photograph, this is probably the best one I have of her.

Love the colour one of Zoe... though the black and white would work well on a crystal engraving :D

Increase the shutter speed (Shutter speed generally controls the ambient light), see the exif details, Flickr: More detail about Zoe..

Have a play with it, works quite well!

Haven't you watched your dvd's ;):p

Typical border collie pose, "what's going on, where are we going, come on let's do something." of course this repeated in there heads 100 times a second!

LOL

I have watched the flash one I dont recall this being in it though....still got to wtach the light room one...I have been looking for a way to convert it to a different format because at the moment I can only watch it on a computer I dont use which makes it awkward for where the compture is set up

I have actually been using the flash a fair bit now:) I'm not quite so scared of it I just got to find the time to experiement

Nice photos with the expresion well captured.
I like the B&W version, for some reason in my monitor the reds on the color version looks a tad saturated.
Very nice dog as well.

Great pics!

I like border collies - if we ever get a dog it will be a collie - as long as it can be trained not to eat our ducks and geese (they are only for us to eat ;)).

DB - any young collies in the shelter???

commonly called a "German Coolie" I think.

I love collies, my current one is a handful but he'll settle down....when he is about 10!!

love the honey and chocolate collies too!
