I am looking for a steel type in-line air cleaner which I have seen on some EFI Rangies, like this:

Did they also come on the Disco V8's as well?
What years did they come like this? Am looking at various vehicles being wrecked but not sure what years/models to home in on.
Thanks
David

The 200tdi disco has a similar air cleaner
only the air intake is through the side not the end.
depending on room could use an elbow to feed air in.

just check on availability of the filter as we were told they are becoming hard to get! Don't know why though....

Spud, my 93 Disco V8 has that type of air cleaner, if you are going to use one and fit a snorkle, make sure the inlet air comes in the front as standard and not in the side like the Safari setup, the filter is designed to recieve air from the front and will clog very quickly if plumbed in the side, go to my Gallery "Tank" for some pics, Regards Frank.

I would have to go to the shed and have a look, but I don't think so. Pretty sure it has the square flat panel type.
