Hi All
I have been thinking of putting after market Headlights in the buggy and was wondering if anyone knows of kits made for the P38? Has anybody done the conversion and if so any pitfalls we should know about. I've seen some on Ebay but have been told their dodgy or will post bulb errors if not done correctly?

Aftermarket headlights or HID globes?
I'm running HIDs in my P38 (4 globes in total) - no bulb failure messages with mine. It took a liitle bit of thinking though (I'm not used to that) but it all worked out great.

My apologies I wasnt quite clear in first post. Xeon or Halogen headlight globes is what I meant to ask :)

So a straight H4 type globe then.
As long as it's 60/55w, then it'll be OK.
I don't know if you can go with a higher wattage globe & still fool the bulb warning system. I didn't try that before going HID.

Oh ok so its as simple as changing the Globe to the same spec but in H4, that seems nice and easy. Is there any specific types I should look for?

They're standard wattage so a direct replacement.
BTW, the inner globes are H1 (I'm sure they're not H3) so you need different ones for those.
