Hi Norto,

What performance gain would be achieved with this chip?

I assume it would void warranty on the engine. Is this your understanding?

Cheers,
Ash

The car is a lot more responsive down low and in the mid range.
They claim better fuel economy but i havn't seen any change.
If you have any warranty issues you remove the chip before it goes to the dealer...it takes about 5 minutes.

I had one in my Touareg from new and I loved it. It changed the torque profile and I found that the Touareg was less inclined to change down in higher gears.

It can easily be turned on and off. My dealer knew it was fitted and the techos never worried about it. The performance increase was so noticeable that my wife new when it was on or off.

I pulled it from the Touareg when I sold it, so I'm keen to move mine as well. I think it's compatible with the LR TD5 engine, so I might have to post it on the for sale.

At $650, it's a good deal cos a new one is $1500.

Cheers
