TDV6 Engine Remap

Can anyone share comments / experiences of getting an engine remap on TDV6 Disco? I am interested in:
1. performance / economy improvements
2. Warranty issues / concerns
3. Remap vs Chip

Davis Performance offer a remap, has anyone here had it done? Is is a noticable improvement?

I have heard that LR are starting to look into remapped ECUs before authorising warranty repairs to engines and transmissions.

And for that reason alone, the Bell Auto Services upgrade looks attractive. You flash the upgrade yourself after he sends you the code, and then can put it back to standard when you take it to the dealer. :)

It sounds like its not worth the hassle while in the warranty period.

Ayers said they could do re-maps not sure who they would be from though, they install via Autologic.

Autologic do their own. Supposedly LR techs can't see it. Don't know how that works though!

It is not imediately obvious but is often written over with software upgrades.
