Hey Mate,
Well done. Could you be more specific when you say adjusted the tappets. I am looking to get a bit more power too. I had a 200.
Thanks
Jay:)

i adjusted the tappets to .2 of a mm they were very sloppy, once adjusted it went alot better, i then adjusted the fuel going into it, it was running about 10 psi before now it is running 17-18 it absolutely hammers!!!

Thanks,
I'll check that out. I am not sure how to adjust fuel then measure presure. I will look into it. Learning to do a basic mechanics on the car myself. Enjoying the savings...!!!
Thanks for your input.

There use to be a fabulous post on one of the forums on boosting up the 200 & 300 TDI’s and also adjusting the fuel pump to get best performance. It was quite an extensive post and was all the rage with the 200 &300 owners.
I can’t find it anymore but if someone knows the thread it's well worth a read

no it is perfect, hardly any smoke, and it is getting figures of 9l per 100km it is brilliant, mind you the fuel and turbo had never been touched so it was very very gutless.
