packing away our models I picked up one particular model (Matchbox defender 90) and said to Ian look at this model it looks like an SVX its got the funny looking grill how funny:D.

low and behold we turned it over and on the bottom it says
"Land rover SVX".

Now you would think yeah so what so you have a model of the SVX....how ever this model was made in 2003:eek:....so was the SVX a concept for that long? it even has what looks like the bucket type Recaro seats:D

Ian has had this model for years and we have only just noticed..

So perhaps we were the first in Australia to own one :lol2:..this one however has been reliable the whole time we have had it:p

you guys have a short memory. Back at the detroit? motorshow in 02-03 landrover made a concept SVX. It was a short black 90 with a chunky cage and really big wheels (20"? mabe bigger) and chunky mud tyres. I think it also had a hidden winch.

Lou, Is your model a small version of this? The head rests have SV? on them.

possibly but the grill is different......

and mine actually says SVX on the base

i like that pic though larry I would have one of those

Heya dullbird - I actually dug up - in our new garden - the exact same toy the other week - I have placed it on a railing in our shed - above Grover - so I too now have 2 Fenders. :D
