well after my last trip out 4wding, im just over the moon about my new tyres an the amount of grip iv now got, all i need to do is get power going to the right wheels all the time, so i need a rear locker:D,

im looking at every option there is, arb/tjm/lokka all of them, even the cheap as chips lockers,

as i dont flog the car off road i feel that the cheap locker will do, cos enything is stronger then the rover diffs, an if looked after will do fine, i would love a arb one but the price puts me off the most,

other way is get a old car with lockers allready in it an just swap,

eny help with what you or someone has done is mad props,

an i hav a defender td5 with a rover diff in it, so will the old rangie diffs fit in if the splin count is rite,;)

Hi there , the locker you need in the back of your defender is the P38 diff locker centre, which is different to the 24 spline rover centres. I woudn't touch those cheap chinese lockers personally I would only go for an ARB, or Jac Mac which i don't know if jac mac they even make them for your model, or a Detroit auto locker which I have which is great.

Go ARB, mine is fantastic and you get the ARB pump as well. This is another good bit off gear

I've enquired about the Lokka and they don't make one for the Defender.
Detroit locker is cheaper than ARB and TJM.
