hi all got a question is it possible to fit a front drivers discovery seat into my 98 110 defender mine kills my back on long trips cheers all

I had D1 seats in the front of my County for a while, I had to make a narrower "cubby" box and swap passenger side for driver's side (to permit access to the tilt adjustments)...

Limiting factor for me was the lack of space between the top of the seat base and the steering wheel (the County has the large RR steering wheel) and the associated slightly elevated eyeline height which for me was a little too high (couldn't always see up the road - not that that makes much difference these days) ...

It will be interesting to see others' comments on this as I have contemplated trying it all again with some seat base mods..

Dad has put an old recaro (spelling) in the front drivers side of the county.
Nice and comfy but there isn't much room between the steering wheel and the seat (as above):(
i'm shore you could get around it by fitting a smaller steering wheel;)
P.S he had to make a new/modify a seat base to fit.....
