Hi Guys,

Can anyone give me a recommendadtion of a reliable UK parts supplier they have dealt with.

I am looking to buy a couple of parts that I would prefer to use genuine for.. and as eeh Aussie dollar is pretty healthy I thought I'd save some $$ buy buying direct.

So far I have tried to contact 2 via email to confirm a couple of this before placing an order .

One took 4 working days to reply an email ( and only answered half the questions) - the other hasn't replied at all - 6 days later...

So I'm not so keen to send them money and pray the parts arrive anytime this year..

Any feedback for happy customers would be appreciated....

Lets keep any negative feedback nameless (or PM me..) that should avoid a smack with the naughty stick from the mods..

Mark,
Unless i am in the pooh i only buy from the u.k. if you are buying enough gear it works out cheaper than buying anything in Australia.
to make an order worthwhile- work off what the main bulk is and then that should give you a freight cost,
then just load the pallet with filters track rod ends all the odds and sods that cost stupid money here.
Example i am getting a bulkhead and all the other gear works out cheap comparatively.
if you phone famous four in an hour they might be right for you. as i don't know what items you are after or your motor it's hard to say i have used them it takes 4-5 days to arrive unless you express it, simmonites are good but less chance of genuine stuff, and paddocks are good also they stock a variety of gear aftermarket and genuine thing is there is after market **** or after market good stuff worth a thought regards andy

Mark,

What is it you are after as this will have a affect on who I would recommend? I on numerous occasions have just bought stuff from main dealers in the UK and saved a lot over the prices here.

Hi Pete,

I need a TD5 MAF, and I've been told it's best to stick with genuine,
I'm also about to do a decent outback trip, so I was going to top up my spares box with a couple of air cleaners, fuel filters and an oil filter as well as a crank angle sensor. Maybe a few other bits and pieces.

Cheers, Mark
