We've bought yet another wreck, this will be number 4. I've ran out of room on our block so I've "temporarily" located it on my brother-in-law's empty block.

It is a Series 3 SWB.

The good:
Ute style rear door, I'm going to check out what they're like.
Good gearbox,
Original seats,
Good chassis, although it looks as though the rear crossmember has been replaced,
Some good panels,
Good rims and tyres.

The bad:
Pummelled roof full of dents,
Holden 6,
No heater, no blower (something I currently need if anyone in WA has them)
Blown rear diff, though never checked so it could be an axle.

At least we're doing the community a favour, cleaning up all the Landy wrecks around town sitting in public view.

Oh gees, stop it, now I'm actually contemplating fixing it up. If I combine the good bits from another wreck, get some basic parts for the holden 6, fix the rear diff, do some wiring here and there........

NO! Must focus......must focus on one Landy.......one landy:wallbash: I'm not even a Landy person.

Oh, that was your 2A. Your welcome to visit her / him?.:D

I have a series 3 heater now and an aftermarket tap. I'm going to get the fan motor out of your 2A if it still works.

I'm going to keep the Holden donk as a spare for the LWB green one that is registered and running.

If that's a wreck then I would hate think what you would call the series that arrived at my place on thursday.

Just bought an Ex Military S3 109" with a holden 186 (originally a Rover 6cyl). Looks as though it had a canopy on it which has been taken off and replaced with a hardtop with no sides. Picking it up tomorrow so I'll post some photos then. It sure has been battered, but it still has the tool holders, brush bar and is registered. The chassis has some rust in the front spring hangers and rear cross member but it can all be fixed. The chassis looks quite a bit stronger than my standard 109"!
