just washed the disco after a trip out to Longreach and when I sudsed up the rear skylights black stained water ran off from all around so I tried both sides and same.....anyone had this happen? I used a spray on rinse off truckwash. Wondering if its dried adhesive? am I going to need to reseal the windows soon?

two weeks ago just before I left I had nice big bore free flow muffler fitted. it didnt raise noise levels much but certainly sounds nice. the up side is a noticeable performance increase and a dramatic fuel decrease btw its a td5. my normal all round usage has been 11.5ltrs/100km, since the muffler it has dropped to 9.5. impressive result for little cash outlay

It happens as the rubbers start to deteriorate.

I no good with rubbers - I have 3 girls... :p :)

But the muffler, that has my interest. How much did you pay, and is it the centre muffler that you had done?

Mine does this too, and the rear side windows that I asume use the same sealant.

I hose them (low preshure) out while soap on panels underneath so as not to stain paint.

Havn't realy woried about it untill now:unsure:, thanks;).

Cheers.

Its a "tru-flow" (i think, cant read the embossed brand on it cause its topside up) 2 and 1/2"bore, stainless steel. cost $292 fitted. yes its the centre muffler. it also reduces weight by about 15kg over the double bed it replaced. it has also made the whole drive train feel smoother and quieter as well. the auto holds longer on hills before selecting down and some cases it doesnt change down at all where it used to.
