We're off to Princetown for a couple of days and the motel we are staying at is within spitting distance of a State Park that I know has some awsome 4wding. The unfair bit is we have to take the bloody crumble door cause my old lady can't drive a manual and she wants to nick of through the day to take photos without the hassle of kids!!!! grumble grumble grumble.....

I have no sympathy. Just do what I did and buy a second Landrover product for the better half, cut the commondoor adrift:p

Funny you would say that, I've been looking....... gotta love her though, she said we could trade the wagon in on an auto fourby as long as it gets the same lift and wheels as mine. Gotta love her.

Been there,SHE wanted a little nippy thing like all her friends have.My answer was, there's no way one of those will get far on the beach,or to the cape.....

So all is quiet on that front at the moment:)

Surely you can organize a 'breakdown' for the dunnydoor just prior to your departure.

Geez Adam,,,your going to be a busy boy between now and when you go up there,,,but you do have some choices,,,:D

Find an auto,,,and fit it to yours,,,

Find a new car,,with the auto,,,and do the lift refit,,,

Trainining,,, (good luck with that one,, :eek2: :eek2: ),,:Rolling:

Or,,,as a last resort,,,,get her to hire a little car up there,,,:D

Well mate, I have 2 discos, but tdi's. Mine that modded slightly for touring, the other completely stock for her.

I recon you should show her those crash test vids of the commondoor... that would be enough for her to say lets get another with 44" rubber, 6" lift etc etc :D
