Does anyone know what link connectors are used in the D1 and softdash classic and what scan tools support them, i know they dont have an engine management system, but all i am after is something to check engine, abs/tc and even air suspension faults (if i ever put it back), And would the same too support say a P38 if i was to upgrade vehicles.

Early D1 up to 1996 and RRC with 14CUX hotwire incl softdash didn't use OBD2, either autologic, Rovacom, or autodiagnos are your friends here they have all link plugs available, as without OBD2 there are a few:(. If you get a rovacom lite/ faultmate, it can be upgraded and added to in module form for any vehicle up to D3 etc etc.
