Yep.... pulls up heaps better with the 285s on than mine ever did with 29s or 31s let alone 33s. Has a nice feel to the pedal as well... Not hard nor sinking.

Actually come to think of it , next time I come up....whenever that might be ..... I'll bring a Service Kit for the 89 calipers , pull them apart and put a service kit thru em........the kit has stainless steel pistons and are better quality that the OE Pistons. should I bring a can of Ferrari red as well? :p

Oh no you wont!:D Remember I'm dumping the 89 calipers for fender ones and vented disc that I have here. So will need a sevice kit for them and some Ferari red:D Definatetly will do all calipers as the rest of the diffs will be all new. Should see the Rangie out.

Sounds good Tony , you'll be happy with this set up as you 've discovered , have you installed the Lift kit on the 89 yet ???

yes ,I remember now , you did mention this , anyhow the service kit is the same for both , pistons are xackery same , so are the seals , difference is in the Caliper spacer and the vented rotors vs normal calipers and solid rotors.:)
