Stick with my Wolf rims or get a whole new set

I got a '97 130 which came with tubed Wolf rims, I have 5 of them and need 2 new BFG A/Ts on them. Ive been quoted $1oo for another second hand rim and then I'd need to get 3 new tyres.. What my question is, would I be better off getting a new set of 6 15" steel rims with 33" tubeless tyres on them, then stick with the Wolfe rims? Any info would be awesome, CHEERS..

I think you should go out and buy a whole new set , and send me the Wolf Rims asap , i feel sorry for your situation so I will pay freight :p:p

Doubt you'd have any trouble selling Wolf rims. Wolf rims = Land Rover porn.:D

Thanx guys, I'm currently driving round oz at the moment, you have helped me to decide to keep my wolf rim bling, I was leaning this way as none of my mate have them, currently getting prices for new tyres, thinking about sticking with the BFG at's but really keen to get some muddies.. In 4-5 weeks I'm heading north from Adelaide to NT then round to WA. One other question, being tubed wolf rims how low do you think I can safely deflate on sand when needed?

I've got tubeless Michelin XZLs on wolfs, and run them 16-18PSI in sand no problems, even down to 12PSI if needed.. Tubed will run hotter from more friction, so wouldn't be down at 12 especially if you are doing fast sand driving. Won't be good to get sand between the tube and the tyre.

Michelin XZLs are execllent in mud, but a bit pricey. They're also pretty quiet for a mud tyre (compared to something like a GoodYear MTR anyway).

oh yeah sith look at lin landy wreckers they sometimes have wolf rims not saying they are cheap but, then nothing is was thinking of getting some from the u.k. as i need a spare as its standard landy and makes me sad
