Hi, just bought our first FL 2 and super excited, will pick up in a couple of days. Just had a few questions regarding adding accessories, etc....
I got a 2008 with no sunroof but I would love to have one custom made. Has anyone does this to their FL? Would the dealer be able to do it or should I look for someone else locally? I'm in Sydney.
Secondly I would like to add reverse sensors. Which is best? And do I need a camera?
Also GPS and Bluetooth? Many to choose from and not sure what's best?
Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Claudia

Why did you not go for a Factory standard roof??? I think there around 3k. As to fitting a after market roof, I would be looking at someone like webasto.
Webasto Australia Sunroofs for Automobiles and 4WDs (http://www.webasto.com.au/am/en/am_auto_sunroofs_485.html)

Hi Juddy,
Thanks for your reply. I'm happy to get a factory sunroof, would the dealer arrange this for me? Factory is in Uk, car is in Australia, stupid question I know but not sure how a factory sunroof would be done in this case?????
The car is not brand new, it's the 2008 demo car and the dealer has been using it the last 18 months.

You can try City Sunroofs in Milperra. They used to do the local sunroofs for most manufacturers before delivery to customers.

If you are going to go reverse sensors then go a camera as well. I couldnt image not having the camera especially when you got front and rear sensors. Gets confusing.

Picked up the car yesterday and it turns out it's got reverse sensors built in, the dealer didn't even know when I asked before.....
So all sorted with the sensors, don't need front ones for the time being but looking to add the GPS and bluetooth along with some exterior accessories.
What a beautiful car and so smooth and easy to drive especially moving from manual to auto, don't know what to do with my left hand....haha
What about petrol? Any suggestions which one is best and recommended between 91 - 95 or 98?
Filled up the tank today, no the dealer delivered it pretty much on empty, so filled up the tank with a whopping $87..... wow!
Thanks for your suggestions and please keep them coming if there is anything I should know about the FR2
