As you all have probably gathered by now, I am a prospective Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon buyer.....
I'm really concerned by my wife's attitude....her response was....."Don't sit on the fence, just go out and get one", and then, "All those fancy switches, levers and thingy's on the "P", you never use anyway".....
Something just ain't right.......:bat:
I've always wanted a Defender since my first drive in a Land Rover (year was about 1984)....I have "great" memories of that car....:whistling: but no further details as my wife is reading over my shoulder as I type.
I recently test drove a new diesel "P"....yep, a stonking 147kw and 441NM of torque...really impressive across all facets...but....I'm still so drawn to the LR...it's such an "engaging" drive, plus I like having my right elbow out the window even if it's raining.
I've read all of the concerns, reliabilty issues, etc with the LR but at the end of the day it just doesn't bother me much.
So the big question is really (insert drumroll).....who likes Arctic White ?
Safe driving.
