Can anyone tell me how to post up a SketchUp file here?

I have tried the normal file upload (like you do for photos) but I get this message:
AutoSave_Canopy014.skp:
Invalid File

It is 450Kb.

Thanks
David

You can export it as a 2D graphic and then save it as a .jpg file. If the pic it too big or the resolution too high then you can adjust it in Irfanview or other similar photo modifying software. It'll then upload.

Hi Inc,

See this thread: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/90-110-130-defender-county/86327-q-mulgo-hohars-lifting-roof-converted-110s.html

But then it won't be in the SketchUp format, so you can't view it....

I have exported some JPG view of this (in the thread above), but a couple of people have asked if I can post the .SKP file.

upload it to the files and downloads area (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/local_links.php) then a link to that url would get you there as well

Thank you Spudboy, I had never considered using this software until now and after having looked at several YouTube videos on it I have high expectations and will download it. Previously I always used AutoSketch but that was limited to 2D.

Yeah - it's amazing software, and the best part is it's free!

I built that model of the canopy over a couple of nights mucking about (after watching the help videos), so if I can do it anyone can :D

The idea of "pulling" shapes through space to create solids is quite intuitive.
