A mate has a couple of spare gas struts that I can have. I'm going to use one on the rear door, and I was thinking about doing the bonnet also. A few questions about the bonnet.
Would I need a strut on each side for the bonnet?
What size strut/s would I need?
Where would you mount the bonnet struts?

If your bonnet catch comes loose, your bonnet will generally stay down, but with a strut, give it a couple of bumps and it will pop open while you drive!
Besides, the strut may prevent you from being able to easily fold the bonnet back against the windscreen (depending on what Land Rover you have).
