G'day,
i installed the bracketry for the spare wheel in the rear tub, but i never had that piece which clamps the wheel rim. Does anyone have a picture they can post so i can see what it looks like? then i can fabricate something close enough to the origional.
thanks,
Chris:cool:

Hi Glen,
Gees, that machine attachment looks pretty harmful.............:o i wouldnt wanna be in its way.....!
Thanks for the pics. I can easily make the bolt piece and find a wing nut in my bits'n'pieces tub. i think that galved clamp piece be bit difficult to replicate. Now that i know what it looks like, i'll have a ravell throuh my bits'n'pieces tub i reckon i'll find that exact part.....! if i cant i'll just make something simmilar i guess!
thanks,
Chris

Chris, that looks very similar to what I recall was in my Series 3!
You may be able to pick one up from a wrecker or even brand new.
Good luck,
Mark.

The oblong bracket and wing look the same as the ones used on series 1 to series 3 but the mounting bracket that bolts is different on the 2As & S3
