Gday everyone, I have a bit of an odd question. I am about 200 kays from my car at the moment so can't do any measurements, but I am brewing up some ideas whilst I'm at work. Can anyone help me with some specific dimensions of the body/panels on a 88" hardtop?

I even drew a diagram:
https://www.aulro.com/afvb/images/imported/2009/08/658.jpg

So, red is total length
blue is length from back of car to top of windscreen
green is front of car to bottom of windscreen/top of firewall
yellow is height of body
(running out of colours) cyan is for height of hardtop
pink is for height of hardtop roof part, say from top of hardtop sides to the top of roof.

If anyone has anything, it would be a great help.

Hi Sam,

Just went out and measured up the SIII 88" hardtop.

red / total length = 3420mm / 11' 12.5" to flush with the front panels, then another 120mm / 4.75" to the front of the bumper.
blue / hardtop length = 2000mm / 6'7"
green / front = 1170mm or 3'10" to flush with front panels
yellow / height of body = 1450mm or 4'9.5" from sill panel to top of roof rib
cyan / hardtop height = 740mm or 2'3" including roof rib
pink / hardtop roof part = 190mm or 7.5" excluding roof rib, which is ~21mm

Measurements are a bit rough - so within ~10mm or so; and don't forget to allow a bit for panel fit ;)

Caught!! :oops2:

That'll be 11' 2.5" - I think I'll blame the 11 key, rather than admit to not being as multi-scalar as I thought I was! :p :wasntme:
