Anyone know where to buy ramps for inspecting/working on 4WDs? It appears the Superchep/Repco ones only suit cars, not 4WDs. Any ideas?

They do sell them,, but you have to get the "heavy duty" ones, and their like twice as expensive as normal car ones
Other than that, call into a small engineering factory, and see if they'll make you a set,, you can get them made then exactly as you want them.
Or, as a last resort, if you can weld, or have a mate thats a boiler maker, buy some angle iron and do it yourself. ;)

Second the Heavy Duty ramps from super cheap. Cost me a bit but they are rated for the 130. I also bought 4 axle stands surprisingly cheap from them. Each of my ramps and stands are rated to 2.5 tonn each. So in theory I can support the whole rig on 2 stands if I could get it to balance.
You may hav to ask for the heavy duty ones s they mainly sell the light car ones.

G'day all.
Thought i'd throw this in the mix  just because I can:)
I don't use ramps as such, I drive(low range) all 4 wheels up on blocks of wood.
2of 75x100mm red gum fence posts per wheel work well and fills in the whole tyre. Only 300mm long and 75mm lift.
Have been knowen to use 125x125 also.
Usualy room to get under the diffs ect. for most jobs.
Cheers Kyle.

I use old rims and tyres with a length of board to help ease the vehicle up and over the edges.
But theres very few things on a stock height landy (save the freelander) that you cant do with it on the deck or as suggested driven up onto blocks of wodd.
