Engine light came on and lost all power

Hey can anyone help me on this .Today i was driving 50km/h and all of a sudden my engine light came on and i lost all power ,engine died lost power steering /brakes and all ,i pulled over and tried to start again no-go then turned ignition off,checked all my fluids and they all good then got back in and started and was fine only dove another 3km to my house ,it did not go into limp mode either,i am very confussed as my disco has been running great ,loom was done about a year ago

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this morning i went to see if i could found anything and she would not start ,turned it off then went to start again no problem,shut it down straight away for precautionary reason,i am starting to think i have a faulty sensor loose connection as it is not consistant

When you say it wouldnt start, what do you mean ? Lights come on on dash?, Engine turn over ?, Totally dead ? What ?

As Deano said.. more detail would help.

But have you checked your main battery? These vehicles do lots of funky things if they aren't getting enough voltage... I recently discovered :angel:

yeah the lights come on engine turns over but wont kick in ,,
battery is fairly new 1yr old,will put the volt meter on and check it out
