Just invent something like this!
Land Rover Supercharger Turbo for Discovery Freelander - eBay Other Performance Parts, Performance Parts, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 01-Sep-09 22:41:57 AEST) (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Land-Rover-Supercharger-Turbo-for-Discovery-Freelander_W0QQitemZ300341714277QQcmdZViewItemQQpt ZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item45edc2dd65&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)

Awesome, :o I was tempted to buy one straight away, fortunately I gave it some consideration. I'll wait, I'm sure the next model will recondition all moving parts and rejuvinate paintwork. Can you imagine how annoying it would be to fit one now, only to see the latter advertised next month?:p

He may also sell the legendary Pogue 200 mpg carburettor. You know the one. The oil companies bought up the patent and hid it before it put them out of business. Perhaps he has those little jiggers that fit in the vacuum advance line that double gas mileage and horsepower.

These items were not quite what they were cracked up to be Brian, I managed to salvage a carton (illegally) of them when I was carting scrap metal. I fitted two to the '51 Clevo powered Fairlane I had back then, the logic dictating that if one produced economy of 200 mpg, then two would render 400 mpg. Despite numerous valiant efforts, the best I ever got was 326.5 mpg. Low rev torque was also comprimised, although I will concede that a less experienced driver would probabley not noticed this.:p

The problem with these type of supercharger is that to reap the full benefit you really need to replace the muffler bearings at the same time, so most of the cost benefit is used up with the new parts.

And if you take into account the cost of changing the halogen in headlight bulbs, which should also be done, it becomes economically unviable.

He doesn't mention Biodiesel, I wonder if it is compatible?

I suppose if you fit one of each then you will need an auxiliary fuel tank to catch the overflow because your engine is now so economical it will now be making fuel.;)

:Rolling:
Just make sure the Fuel tank is big enought so that the overflow doesn't overflow.

Now if they made a raising kit so simple, how good would that be!
