Have seen a 98 fender for sale round 180ks looks good, with l/r tanks, d/locks etc just wondering what the average price would be of a similar vehicle.

last January when I was looking for one the price was between $16000 to $18000.

If you can get it for that money (in good nick) with all the extras you are doing well.

Thanks for the replies, am starting to get ready for the big tour of Aus next year and instead of taking my hybrid disco,thought that a fender would offer more room etc and a TDI would be easier to look after, than the TD5.

No doubt you already have looked on some of the car websites but just in case you haven't, have you looked on Carsales.com.au?

I was out of general interest just looking at Defenders myself earlier today when I came across this one in Sydney. It looks like quite a nice one with a few extra's on it and asking 15K. Out of all the Defenders on Carsales it looks like the best starting point deal for the money on that website anyway.

It looks like its in good condition from the photo's.
