Good going :). That's pretty big rubber tucked up under those guards.

Any idea which edition you'll be in?

Top truck mate. It is great to see that finally someone has had the guts to really have a go with the disco2. They are a top car, and nine has been 100% reliable, yet I have little desire to spend money on it because I rarely see them in mags. Yours (and some others on this forum ) have inspired me to not trade mine in for a defender, but to blow the cash on mine. Dont be alarmed if you see some numpty in an alveston red disco2 following you, it will probably be me just trying to have a look. Does yours have air springs at the back or ACE. If it has either, how have you overcome these? Who did the work for you etc. etc. TOP TRUCK:BigThumb:

thanx guys.... spent so much time on this car everything was trail and error but in the end it was all good, I am running on the back 2inc ironman springs custom engineered 5 inch lift blocks under the springs, drive line Ashcroft front cv joints and rear Ashcroft input shaftn in the rear diff... I have not done any gear reductions because i found it wasn’t necessary and it’s a waste of money, gear box and transfer case its all factory... motor has been chipped and now on a dyno it runs 200HP at all 4 its better on fual and good response when you put foot down  the car has not let me down since I owned it for the last 3 years never had any problems mechanically and electronically.... If you guys need more info or you want me to help you build one let me know... I am panel beater by trade and now I work insurance companies as motor vehicle assessor her in Perth WA. I have been working on this car for the last 6 months and this is where it got me.... my discovery 2 its a 2002 but its been converted to a 2004 headlight and grill. I hope I can inspire some of you discovery 2 drives to build one your self they are so well worth it.... people stop me on the freeway and take a photo of my car and its great feeling sinc my family has owned land rover since they came out. I will ALWAYS love them to death :D:).... any more info let me know
