The wife has started on the car thing again:(
She came across a Black Supercharged Rangie with the white leather interior etc wile in Sydney and fell in love with it. At least she has good taste in cars hey.
Something will have to go right here to extend to one of these things and with drought hitting again and two Kids to put through a private school I cant see it likely in the short term:(
As some of you know I'm in the process of building up a 89 RRC with a blower and a few upgrades.
Looks like it may only be a toy now as she would settle for a nice late TD5 D2 or a 94 LSE RRC Soft dash for a wile. I'd like the 94 RRC but as we all know it may need a lot of sorting to be reliable like the 89 model has been.
I'm a bit shy of the TD5 D2 at this stage by some of the drama some have had with them here. I think they are nice though for a disco.
I have a 94 Update disco here as well that is damaged ATM and the wife and kids like it as far as being user friendly goes....
We'll see what evolves from here:eek:

Floods in Queensland // Storms in Sydney // Farmers East of Perth not whinging // Raining all the time in Perth ..... and this didn't translate to "good news" for Tony
Someone's not doing enough of a rain dance ..me thinks
By the way ... LandRover are now "Advertising on Telly" ... Runout specials of the 09 RR sports // See your local dealer NOW
(mm .. perhaps mentioning that is not being helpfull )
Can't use the "Smilies" .. cause they are still set to ........

We have had a lot of discussion over the D1 here. You know how much we all like the Rangies here. Told the wife this morning a good D2 will set us back around 25K:eek: To much for a now ageing vehicle that is bound to trouble us:(
We now hope to find a nice 94 LSE soft dash. Rare as around here:(
The ultimate would be swap the disco running gear into a nice LSE if we can find one.

I am completely terrified at the thought of having one of those luxo barges here:eek::eek::eek::eek:
I only had a little bit to do with them and are way over my head when the electrics play games:( The one you showed me by pm looks a good buy though:).

I agree .... all that Lucus .... but the price makes it very "thinkable" ... Everyone is Terrified of them in Perth ... which makes em even Cheaper!!!
Wayneg bought a 99 with the Bosch gear in it, & after watching him slowly get his head into gear / how he has been sorting out electrics on it ... I recon it's a piece of cake ... and lets face it ... Ron (P38rover) would never let ya down / would he??
Mmmm ... maybe I should keep my trap shut ... [FishSlap]

I bought an 03 L322 for 50k and the misses loves it.Don't be put off by the fancy bits as they are prooving to be a very reliable bit of gear and I don't know of any other vehicle that will cruise at 120 and still get 32mpg. Pat
