One of my lads, sort of an adopted part of the family, is doing some long-distance cycling. No, I’m not looking for charity donations or anything like that, just a bit of encouragement for him if you see him on the road.
Terry is Chinese, lives in Hong Kong and is achieving one of his great ambitions, to cycle from Melbourne to Brisbane. He’s on his way. He left Melbourne a few days ago and is travelling on the coast road. We last heard that he’s at Lakes Entrance heading towards Orbost, Eden and in due course, Sydney. He plans to reach Brisbane about the end of September.
If you see him, can you give him a wave, have a chat or top up his water bottles. I’m sure that he will appreciate it.
Thanks
Mike Timms (Vin Rouge is the Defender 90)

Hi Mike, that's quite a trip he's doing.
I'm heading down the South Coast of NSW next week so I'll keep my eyes open for him.

Well, he's now arrived in Sydney. No major mishaps apart from some flat tyres. He has met some really good people apparently. He starts working his way north to Brisbane at the end of the week.

Not a bad effort....and it's uphill all the way ;)
Yes but the destination makes it worthwhile eh MN?;)

Well, he's here. That's about 1500 kms on a bike. He looks fit!
