disco 2 rear brakes need help

I have d2 V8 200,000k

rear brake pads drivers side, on outside rotor keeps on wearing ++

inside rear brake pads drivers side OK

+ passenger side all OK - wear even on both inside and outside pad

+ this is the second time this wear pattern has formed

I had the fluid replaced and pumped through the system by G Coopers say 9 months ago - brake fluid replacement

The unusual wear pattern showed itself before the b/fluid replacement

Any suggestions please

Alan, The likely suspect is the sliding pins for the calipers are seized, common problem if not removed and lubed when fitting new pads. The easy way to check them is reach underneath the vehicle and grab the caliper body and jiggle it about, you should be able to notice the pins are free to move in their holes.
Be prepared though for a struggle if they ARE siezed, I have had to throw 1 caliper bracket away because even with oxy in a vice it wouldn't come out:eek:

should have been picked up upon when the first set of pads developed an off set wear pattern.
