Wireless remote control

Hey All,

Well i've just bought myself a wireless remote control, to use to fire off my flash when it's off camera, it also has the benifit of working in reverse in that i can use it to operate the camera from distances of up to 100m away, got it from e-bay made by YONGNUO RF-602 paid a grand total of....... $50. works well i'm very happy with it, especially for what it cost. Well worth looking at if you could use it!

It comes with a transmitter, a reciever, and 3 cables

it'll fire off as many flashes as you have recievers for wirelessly, (i only have the 1) it attaches the reciever via a cable to studio flashes (if you have them!, i have borrowed one from a friend.) there is a cable provided that allows you to shoot with off camera flash (i.e flash attached via cable to camera but held in the hand a short distance away) and the third cable allows you to wirelessly trigger the camera (reciever attaches via cable to camera, transmitter in your hand.) You can also hold the transmitter in your hand and fire off the flash whenever you like this is handy for long exposure shots(in low light) when you want to fill a specific part of the image with light (i.e shooting a cityscape at night, and firing off the flash towards the end of the exposure to highlight a person in the frame)

as i said i'm very happy with it for the cost, and it allows me to play around with a few things. doesn't mean my photo's are any good though!:D

Nikon has the feature built in its DSLR cameras. I have a D80, brought a SB600 flash just recently and then discovered the feature. It looks like can have a number of flash unit on two (?) channels and fire them off at 2 different settings.:cool: Cost me more than $50 you paid Andylandy.
