Defender 200tdi help

Hi guys my brother just bought a cheap 92 defender,it is very gutless doesnt blow much smoke but she spits out a little oil out of the dipstick tube are we up for a rebuild,shes got 302 000km on the clock,turbo works and without it i think it would go backwards......wes.

mmmmmm thats what ours did it was the head gasket...

did the same thing as you described how ever it wasn't a little bit of oil it was a lot, it presurized the sump and blew oil out the dipstick :(

Yes happen to mine one of the rings on piston failed and pressurized the sump.

replaced all rings and got piston cleaned up did job at home with out removing engine
