My sister just had a baby... Sophie Rose @ 10 am today !

This is the first (and probably only) on my side of the family.
There are a whole tribe of nephews and a niece on Mrs Vlad's side.

I'm happy. Maybe go see the little tyke tomorrow.

Congratulations. I've lost track of how many I have - seventeen great-great nephews and nieces on my side, first such on my wife's side three weeks ago.

Thanks all.

No jojo - the Ipswich bloody hospital. Poor girl has her first baby via caesarian and is also sick, and they wante to send her home the following day ! What a great public health system... Grrrr... Anna Bligh.... Grrrr.

She ended up staying at least the next night and I;m not sure whether she'll end up going home today or not.

The bigquestion is.... what kind of shotgun should I buy for her ? (Obviously I'd need to look after it for the next.... years)

Sorry to hear that, mate! Was the CS done in spinal or general anaestesia? Never mind, she definitely needs time to recover, for her own and the baby's sake. PM me if you need advice/moral support/cheering up .
As for the shot gun, a pump action, like the e.g. Remington 870, would do a good job, although I personally would prefer an English style side-by-side, such as an H&H...;):cool:

Heya Vlad - I reckon I saw you heading into the hospital on Sunday - late morning? A white 130 cruised past with an AULRO sticker back window LHS going down Blackall Street in Ipswich. I was walking into town. :)

Hope Mum and Bub are doing well.

Hey Scallops ! As I was in a Citroen at the time I'd have to say.... no !

Freaky coincidence though.
