Will a Fairey overdrive fit the above?
I cant think of any reason why not but its better to throw it open to the Guru's before I buy one.
Thanks,
David

Can't see why it wouldn't. But you shouldn't need it with a petrol motor.

It does rev a bit high, I would prefer to aim for 2200 rpm @ 100klm/hr

only if its the overdrive for the lt95, the others wont work.

David,
If you fit a fairey up behind the Chev, you are introducing a VERY weak link to the drivetrain. Personally, I'd fit 35's before I went for a Fairey O/D:twisted:

Just got outbid on it anyway:(. I figured it would be a case of eggshells under the accelerator & using it sparingly. Cheaper than 8" rims & 35" tyres though:cool: - I'll do a seperate post about a R380 possibility.

...So I guess I'd better post up a tutorial about in situ 5th gear support bearing replacements then sometime soon....?
Keep the LT95, with TR bearings it is the most reliable and robust trans for your vehicle short of a TH400 or 727TF auto:)
