Hello peoples, there might be a few chats on this subject but being new, I thought I'd ask.. My aux battery has been copping it tough so I thought I'd look into a solar panel for when I'm camped, what is it I'm looking for when also not wanting to spend to much? I had a chat to a fellow LR lover from America about this, now when I look I feel like I'm getting ripped off as they are so cheap to get there.. Any info would be awesome, I'm in Adelaide for the next 2 weeks before heading to Vic for a week then NT where I'm thinking it'll come in handy.

allow $100/10W
80W is about the starting oint these days
buy the biggest panel you can afford
only get a basic regulator
i find a clamp style mulimeter meter/current tester handy
is installing a 2nd deep cycle an option
i run two x 100amp deep cycles and a 65W solar panel, works well as i run two engles

Pooh, there is a guy called "solar steve" google him, his prices seem very good.
I'm pretty sure he's in Melbourne, so you might be able to work something out while your here.
I would recommend 80w as a minimum, more if you can travel with it and afford it.
