G'day Folks :)
As some of the Qld members of AULRO are aware that my wife "The Management" took crook on monday morning, well, she came in from letting the dogs out of their kennels complaining of a pain in the chest and hardness of breathing, I handed her the phone and said "call a bloodbox" she was taken to Cabooture Hospt. admitted and stabilised after running a full gambit of tests it was discovered that she had had a minor heart attack :( stayed at Caboolture until wednesday, and then transfered to Royal Brisbane & Womans Hospital coronary care, where more tests and an Angiogram was done, the result, muscle damage, irregular heart beat, and 1 artery in left front of heart 100% blocked:eek2: so we are now awaiting transfer to Prince Charles Hospital for open heart surgery.
This is the first time that she has had chest pain, in 20+years and she is a fit active person, 176cm and 81kg as of monday.
So, if you have chest pain GET IT CHECKED
PS. if you see a Arizona Tan RRC commuting down down the Bruce Bottleneck to Brisvagas from Caboolture it will be Uncle Ho ;) and thanks to those whom have already sent best wishes.
cheers

Bad news but I am sure there will be a 100% positive outcome.
My old man had triple bypass nearly 20 years ago, still going strong now at age 70.

Well she'll be in good company, my old man is in there at the moment waiting for him to get strong enough to put a new pace maker in, the old one doesn't have a big enough jump start for him. He had a valve replacement 5 years ago and his first pacemaker 2 years ago. The old ticker isn't as good as it should be :( poor old bugger. 80 years old he is. :)
Hope all goes well for her, I sure it will they're prity clever in there.
Cheers,
Hoges

Hi Folks :) Management here,
Thank you for all your kind thoughts, I am now home, until such times they decide to operate! I am on the 30 day priority A list. not looking forward to it, but hopefully afterwards life can return to normal? http://www.dolforums.com.au/style_emoticons/default/walkdog.gif (http://javascript:add_smilie(":walkdog:","smid_74")) (had to cut and paste as you haven't got that one!!!!!) But it will be great to get back to dogs and dog training again.
Thanks again to everyone,
Please be there to support Uncle Ho when he falls to pieces!!!!!

ah, management,
now that you're home for a bit before the op, don't forget you still have to mow the back ten, the unk's no good at that,
and while were about it, you had better get craking on a few good dinners to freeze so kev can rest easy while you are away.
or you could just sit back and enjoy his cooking, watch him feed the dogs and have him generally pamper you.
yeah, i know, you will just do it yourself.
enjoy yourself and we wish you well with the op when it comes.
harry and chris.

G'day Folks :)
Update on "The Management"
Went down to Prince Charles Hospital yesterday for the "pre-admission clinic" all done and dusted, they anc't give her a date, "They Phone, We Go" and if there is an emergency, we go home:( that is the part that pings her off
So it will depend on if and when the op is done, as to if I make it to Canungra for the weekend, but will definately try for at least one day :)
cheers
