UJs to CVs

Has anyone changed the UJs out of the front swivels to CVs in a series 1. I am not interested in actually changing the swivels etc themselves just what is inside.

So if anyone has done this please let me know and what CVs did you use and any other mods that are necessary. I want to keep these mods to a minimum.

Sounds like an expensive proposition - custom axles at the very least, and you have to ask why?

Probably the simplest, if you can find the parts, would be to retrofit a pre-53 front axle with Tracta joints.

Thats why I am interested if any one has actually done it vs people like me who have had brain waves and have thought about it.
