he seems pretty happy with his colour in regards to scratches and things. i would say go the silver, but only because you see so many 130's around in white

Well spotted, and who are they trying to fool, the steering wheels on the wrong side......
I thought that too about the white ones, most people have them, i did like the dark grey one, but the wife said NO as once all the black bits are on it, you will not be able to see them, so she said white or silver. And who would have thought it she's taken over this buying a new defender thing far too much, stopped me from getting the 110DC, and decided we were having either the 110sw or the 130... Women...ahhhhhhh
Our dealer here as just sold a black one, and the only 2 new 130 HCPU due here in a months time are guess........ white ones.
it does too :D

If it's scratches you're worried about - go for a white one. White is the only flat paint colour - all the others are metallic - which, if scratched, are virtually impossible to buff out.
White is also cool - Oh, and I've got one. :p
PS - I thought you said you have already ordered yours?

Correct i did, but i was in a good postion to cancel and let the dealer re sell it, they were getting a few in anyway. From a practical stance, the 110dc, does not offer any benefit over the 110sw, and to be honest i love my current 130 to bits, so it made more sence to have a new 130 and stick to whats i already like.... Plus the wife thinks the 110dc looks ****, and if i want a pick up get the 130 as at leat you can pick things up in it.

Yeah - the 110 DC is a great looker but not as practical as either the 110 SW or the 130, IMO.
But in regards to colour, as I say - you can only buff out scratches from flat paint. White is a great colour for that reason and also it will be relatively cooler inside.

Keswick Green is a solid colour (new on the 10MY).
Looks very old school but I quite like it (it's like the old Sydney County Council green).

Yep the standard canvas is very poor, and no its the only one LR supply, however those nice chaps at Exmoor trim do i very nice range of hoods, and i think i will be ordering a black one.

There's a Stornaway grey 110 wagon with a white roof at Barbagallos (WA stealer). it looks....different. I'm still thinking about whether, I like it I think it will grow on me. I am a big fan of the white roof generally.

I had my 110 painted in Zambezi silver 2 pac, which looks the same. It has faired well for scratches. The roof and bonnet has faded, probably because of the paint job. It was the next coolest colour to white.
there is a 130 getting around Wynnum that is silver with black accessories, like Searover's. Looks very nice.

FWIW - All of our vehicles at LRE are in Silver. As a colour, it's pretty good at hiding the scratches.

White is BORING......https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ (http://freesmileyface.net)
Can you negotiate a different coloured soft top? That brown looks plain tacky...black would be far far better IMHO

Yep totally agree..
That is one very nice 110, white maybe is a standard colour, and on a plain defender it does look very bland but like you say once you have kitted your Defender, that makes a big difference.....

It's supposed to be like it is! The awning lies over the frame and is tied down to it by 3 green straps, but the ends of the frame are visible from an end on perspective, as in the pics.

Scallops I think your white one looks excellent :D
I perhaps would have gone white again, but settled for dark green (white roof of course) for a change. As you've said, it is metallic which I didn't want but I wasn't game to go for the Keswick green (which is a flat colour).
Scratches do show up, but I have not been inclined to try and buff them out yet.

I had Keswick green ordered for about 2 weeks, and then I bottled out.
Luckily nothing had been loaded at the UK end, and the dealer let me change it to the dark green metallic.
I have since seen one in the flesh on the LR Drive Day, and I did like it, but it's a bit love/hate with that colour.

Haven't seen one (Keswick Green) in the flesh but I think I like it. White roof, natch. It would look modest and tasteful. But then again maybe those who've seen the colour know something I don't.
