I have searched, but was wondering if I could get some pics or a link to some pics, of different front and rear seating ideas for Defender 110?

I have seen the recent pic with Peugeot 306 seats etc, looking for a few more, sure someone has fitted RRC seats etc to their 110 Defender from memory.

After comfort and adjustablility, preferrably leather, and heated would be good:cool:

Thanks all,

JC

I fitted some seats from a Nissan sports car, not sure what model as I picked them up second hand. I'm sure the seats from many different cars could be adapted to fit a 110. To get to my tool and battery boxes I lift the cubby box out and the seats hinge in sideways.

I remember years ago seeing a 110 with Recaros in the front and the old front seats were in the back, with a small Engel fridge between them.

Hey JC

I can't help with the leather or heatedness :p

But I have a set of DII rear seats that I no longer have a use for, pretty sure they wouldn't be too hard to fit

It's a shame Aerotech don't exist anymore. They made excellent sports seats here in Australia, similar to a Recaro or Scheel and had a dedicated Defender seat that met ADR's with a lift out squab

I think the company that owns SAAS bought them out, so they would still have the design filed away somewhere, and IIRC someone on here was pestering them to begin manufacture again.
