Ok you mob.

I put a post up yesterday canvassing what my vehicle was worth on the market.

Its been deleted.

Suposedly because it has contravened some obscure rule.

Would someone like to enlighten me was to what it was?

One of the Mod's could have felt that it was an effort to sell, or at least the beginnings of, and should go in the markets section.............. although You should have gotten a PM if that was the case.:confused:

I just had a look at the Mod. notes. The thread was deleted as it canvassed what a car is worth (with a view to selling). Those ads are always deleted.

At this point in time I can't see the sense in this. If one can't use the opinion of a panel of experts then the purpose of the forum is largely defeated.

Yes I am thinking of changing the format of the vehicle, yes it might get sold in the process, am i going to do it in the immediate future, no.

It seems to be narrow minded view, the reason for which just escapes me at the moment.

it is hard to tell the difference between someone selling in a year and someone selling next week when they come on and say what is my car worth.......we cannot differentiate rules are rules and everyone needs to stick to them I'm afraid. everyone gets treated the same.

The only justification that is relevant is that of the team that run this site, and that of the team that pay for it to exist. If it contravenes the board owners rules, then irresepective of if anybody else agrees with the same values... to bad. Play in their play ground, then play by their rules.

It'll be a happier place if we are all familiar with the board rules and don't get upset when we mistakenly break them.

I do not know if it can be done, my suggestion is to place a "Pinned" thead on the Markets forum under the name " What my vehicle was worth"
If this can work we will have a reference for all the members.
