sitting through the mother of all storms at the moment, been a long time since i saw one this big. One lightning and subsequent thunder clap after another and rain that would drown a fish. back yard is under water and front yard isnt far behind. Its impressive to watch though.

Just had a look at the BOM rainfall radar from Sydney. Lithgow is actually on the edge of it... hate to think what its like where the radar is indicating dark brown (the most heavy falls).
Good news is that the centre of the storm appears to have gone smack over Warragamba dam so hopefully it might get a bit of inflow.
Clouds are building and getting a bit darker up in the Hunter Valley too at the moment, I might see some storm action a little later.

Thanks for sending it over Ace your storm has arrived here now as well, lots of lightening and rain, it is coming from the Lithgow, Bathurst direction.
Its good to see lots of rain our house main water tank ran out last week.
Hope it stops well before my race meeting at Wakefield Park though on the weekend.
Cheers

Orange went through it. Its a nice one - bit of a summer storm. Warm, dumping, lightening and windy.
The roads are as slippery as all hell by the way.

Glad we got some rain at Bathurst. I fertilised 3,000 Xmas trees on the weekend and that will water it in nicely.
Didn't get much here at Ryde. 20 minutes of rain and that was that

If they weren't so much work it would be fun to go up the farm. Still get to plug a few bunnies for the pot and the occasional goat to cut some chops off and few trout in the dam
I'm going up again this weekend off to finish off the job. Hope we don't get any rain then.

Half your luck. My aim is to buy a few hundred acres out that way one day.
