Hi Pat
In my last Paddocks order from UK, I have 2 belts, one for my D2 td5 and the other for my L322 td6.
I suspect that the td6 belt is the short one - they are both 5PK belts.
The short one is a QH belt number QBR5813 which I suspect means a 5 rib belt of 813mm length.
regards, Daniel.
The longer one is a Dayco 5PK2030 being 5 rib with 2030mm length.

OK so Paddocks supplied with a 5PK2030 - no big deal as the tensioner adjustment usually has plenty of room to adjust and a shorter belt is usually very had to fit compared to a slightly longer one.
How many km on your L322?
I've done 140k so am starting to consider replacing the belt as they usually last about 150 - 200k.

Mines clocked near 140K,I'm driving back to NSW and would rather find out how to replace it at home than on the side of the road,it looks to me like the rad has to come out to replace it as there is no room at all. Pat

You've intrigued me so I went to the garage and popped open the bonnet - it appears fairly straight forward - first undo the two socket head bolts - looks like a 5mm internal hex. Then unclip the radiator shroud (not sure if this is really necessary. Then I could clearly see the tensioner assembly which usually has a female ½" socket for a ½ breaker bar or ratchet head to use as a lever - slip off the old belt and slip on the new.
It always pays to draw a diagram of the belt route before taking the belt off.
It does look tight but then I've worked in tighter place on other vehicles.
I agree that I wouldn't want to do it when the engine's hot or on the side of a road somewhere.
Let us know how you go?

Dunno mate,I can only see about 4'' of a 2 meter belt.I think getting it over the fan is going to be major PITA. Pat
