Topic - Rusty old bits

Out in the paddock, in the shed, by the roadside...

Any two photos that you feel will meet the topic title.

Both photo's must be taken in the last 4 weeks.

PP allowed as long as it's not to make it look rusty;)

Did you know steel will rust to 7 times its original size, so a 1" steel beam will grow to 7", quite amazing really.

Thank you all!

When dm_td5 started this competition I thought neat, just as I'm going away on my first camping trip in the Puma, I was bound to come across some old tractor in a paddock somewhere. I kept an eye out for them, but I had done almost a thousand kms before I came across that rusty old tank on the outskirts of Grafton, and by then I was ready to settle for it. But then literally within a few more kms there was a wrecker with two rusty tractors at the gate (if not a paddock)!

Thanks again!

I love that shot. It's like the metal on the tractor is slowly being sucked back into the ground, which I suppose really is the case.
